Core Facilities

The BMC operates six Core Facilities that provide access to cutting-edge technologies and associated expertise.

The BMC research consortium jointly operates six Core Facilities. They provide access to high-end instrumentation and associated services in bioinformatics, proteomics, bioimaging, flow cytometry, biophysics and animal models. The Core Facilities teams are distinguished by their exceptional professional and technical expertise, extensive experience, and creativity. They continually broaden their range of methods and advance technologies through their own innovative research projects.

The Core Facilities are also open to researchers from other institutions.

The BMC Core Facilities brochure (PDF, 1,703 KB) provides a compact overview of the Core Facilities .

The European University Alliance for Global Health offers a virtual tour of some of the Core Facilities: Virtual Tour Part I, Part II

Users find more details and information on the individual websites of the Core Facilities. The Publication Guidelines of the Core Facilities can be downloaded here (PDF, 259 KB).
